As India’s garment and textile machinery manufacturing industry accelerates investments in advanced technolo gies, automation and sustainable production, Gartex Texpro cess India 2026, incorporating the Denim Show, emerged as an important platform for showcasing the latest innovations and enabling business connections across the textile and apparel ecosystem. The three-day exhibition attracted 15,079 visitors and brought together manufacturers, sourcing professionals, retailers, exporters, buying houses, factory owners and tech nology providers, generating substantial buyer-seller interac tions and business enquiries. With more than 190 exhibitors, including over 40 first-time participants, the exhibition reflected the growing depth and diversity of India’s textile manufacturing capabilities. Leading Indian companies and international brands from China, Japan, Singapore, Italy, Germany, Taiwan, Turkey and Hong Kong participated directly or through distributors. The strong international presence highlighted the increasing importance of the Indian market for textile machinery, production technologies and sustainable manufacturing solutions. The show floor remained active throughout the exhibition, with exhibitors conducting live demonstrations, product launches, technical consultations and buyer meetings. Technologies on display covered garment and apparel machinery, textile processing, automation, digital printing, knitting, denim fabrics, finishing technologies, dyes and chemicals, software and integrated production solutions. A notable trend was the growing incorporation of Artificial Intelligence and digital technologies into machinery and manufacturing systems. Several solutions were designed to improve productivity, reduce production time and material wastage, conserve energy and water, and reduce dependence on manual labour. Exhibitors reported encouraging business outcomes. Mukund Agarwal, Director, Baba Textile Machinery India Pvt Ltd, noted that despite the rains, the company experienced strong footfall, converted several leads, gained new clientele and received a positive response to its new embroidery and printing technologies. Abhinav Arya, Managing Director, Fabcare (India) Pvt Ltd, highlighted the participation of serious buyers and the exhibition’s importance for live equipment demonstrations, new product launches and customer presentations. First-time participant Janak Sutaria, Managing Director, Silver Samurai Textile Machineries, reported a strong response, new clients and discussions on using advanced machinery to expand business. The company also launched three machines for producing high-end elastic products, representing new technology for the Indian market. Several exhibitors also identified skilling and workforce development as an important area for enabling the wider adoption of advanced technologies. The Denim Show generated similar enthusiasm. Minesh Juneja, Head-Sales & Marketing (Domestic), Raymond UCO Denim, highlighted the strong participation of relevant brands and customers and the positive response to new collections, fashion ranges and product launches. Sudeep Mittal, Director, PSK Denim Private Limited, described the exhibition as an effective platform for reaching the right buyers, understanding market requirements and refining the company’s customer base. Knowledge-sharing complemented the business activity through Gartex Texprocess Talks and Denim Talks, where industry experts, technology innovators and thought leaders examined emerging developments in textile and denim manufacturing. Discussions focused on Artificial Intelligence, sustainability, digital transformation, changing consumer expectations and global competitiveness, providing practical perspectives on how businesses can respond to a rapidly evolving manufacturing environment. Overall, Gartex Texprocess India 2026 reinforced its position as an important industry marketplace, bringing together technology providers, manufacturers and serious buyers for focused business discussions, technology evaluation and partnership development.
