Surforce (Qingdao) Technology Group Co., Ltd. has an
nounced that its independently developed low-carbon
technology for functional nanofiber nonwoven materials
has successfully passed official evaluation, with the over
all system reaching internationally advanced standards.
This development solves the long-standing global
challenge of scaling electrospinning for industrial use. It
also offers a fluorine-free and environmentally friendly
alternative to PTFE, supported by cost advantages made
possible through large-scale production.
The company’s main product, Surforce Nanofiber
Membrane, offers a large surface area, strong mechanical
performance, and advanced structural and chemical
properties. It can be produced using different raw
materials and is widely used in industries such as new
energy, high-end filtration, consumer electronics, and
textiles.
This product is used in applications like separator materials for semi-solid-state batteries, filtration systems
for high-temperature environments, and waterproof and
breathable layers in electronic devices. In textiles, it
improves upon traditional PTFE and TPU membranes by
offering better breathability and flexibility, allowing
protective clothing to evolve into more comfortable,
everyday functional apparel. The company has already
partnered with several well-known domestic and
international brands.
Looking ahead, the company plans to continue
strengthening its innovation across the value chain and
expand the large-scale use of high-performance nanofiber
materials. A senior executive stated that the company
remains committed to technology-driven growth and aims
to bring advanced Chinese nanomaterials to the global
market while offering cost-effective and environmentally
responsible solutions.
